The Merkur 39C Slant Bar Safety Razor is the bigger brother of the Merkur 37C safety razor, which in turn is the aggressive version of the famous Merkur 34C model. The Merkur 39C razor, ideal for tough beards, differs from its little brother Merkur 37C due to its long handle and overall higher weight.
The intended aggressiveness of this razor is provided by Merkur’s design, which has perfectly implemented the oblique inclination of the razor blade once inserted into the razor. This is the cause of its controlled aggressiveness.
